Semi-Senior Accountant

Semi-Senior Accountant - Growing Independent Practice Manchester £25,000 - £30,000 DOE Butler Rose Public Practice is delighted to be supporting a friendly, close-knit accountancy firm in the recruitment of an Junior/Semi-Senior Accountant with to join their growing team across their Greater Manchester office. This is an excellent opportunity for an AAT qualified or ACCA part-qualified professional looking to broaden their experience across accounts and tax within a supportive and collaborative environment. The role will have a stronger focus on accounts preparation and tax across a varied client portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

\n
• Prepare year-end accounts for limited companies, sole traders, partnerships, and LLPs
\n
• Prepare VAT returns, bookkeeping, and management accounts for a varied client base
\n
• Assist with corporation tax and personal tax compliance work
\n
• Build strong relationships with clients and respond to day-to-day queries
\n
• Work closely with Managers and Director across a broad range of assignments
\n

Key Requirements

\n
• AAT qualified or ACCA part-qualified
\n
• Minimum 2+ years' experience within an UK accountancy practice
\n
• Knowledge of FRS102 and FRS105
\n
• Experience with software including CCH, Xero, Sage, and Excel
\n
• Strong communication and organisational skills
\n
• Proactive and client-focused approach
\n
