Salary: £32k

Working hours: Mon - Thurs 8:15 - 5pm and Fridays 8:15 - 12:45 - Flexible working hours available

Main Objectives

Key Responsibilities

Planning, allocating, and co-ordinating workload in accordance with production schedule

Mechanical assembly of units. Operating automated equipment to pour encapsulation into assemblies.

Carrying out routine maintenance checks and cleaning

Raising production paperwork including non-compliance/rework records and stores requisitions in accordance with company processes.

Working as part of a team to ensure departmental objectives are achieved.

Ensuring all quality procedures for build and workmanship standards, repair technique

Working with other team members to continuously improve quality and processes, maintain and improve housekeeping in accordance with 5S tasks and cleanliness of work area. Ensuring personal protective equipment, particularly respiratory protection requirements, are observed and maintained.

Ensuring familiarisation with relevant elements of the Company quality management system including static handling precautions and workmanship standards, the use of test equipment/systems and relevant test procedures/specifications.

Supporting the management systems and improvement team activities for ISO9001 Quality and ISO14001 Environmental and health and safety management system requirements.
