The Opportunity:An excellent opportunity has arisen for a qualified or nearly qualified Management Accountant near Bridlington to join a well-established organisation undergoing an exciting period of growth and transformation. Operating within a supportive yet agile environment, this role offers significant exposure across the business, working closely with senior stakeholders and playing a key part in shaping financial performance and decision-making.This is a broad, hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys ownership, variety and the opportunity to influence outcomes beyond the finance function.Main Duties/Responsibilities:\n

  • Lead the preparation of monthly management accounts, including variance analysis and commentary.
  • \n
  • Support budgeting, forecasting and cash flow planning activities.
  • \n
  • Produce financial reports, KPIs and business performance analysis.
  • \n
  • Partner with operational and commercial stakeholders to support decision-making.
  • \n
  • Assist with VAT returns, financial controls and compliance requirements.
  • \n
  • Support year-end and interim audit processes.
  • \n
  • Contribute to business cases and financial evaluation of investment opportunities.
  • \n
  • Identify and implement improvements to financial processes and reporting.
  • \n
  • Provide ad hoc analysis and insight to support strategic initiatives.
  • \n
You Will Be/Have:\n
    \n
  • ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified, or in the final stages of qualification.
  • \n
  • Experience producing management accounts and month-end reporting.
  • \n
  • Strong analytical and Excel skills.
  • \n
  • Confident working with stakeholders across a business.
  • \n
  • A proactive, hands-on approach with a continuous improvement mindset.
  • \n
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • \n
  • Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.
  • \n
  • Experience within a manufacturing, engineering, construction or project-driven environment would be advantageous, but not essential.
  • \n
