\nLocation: Manchester City Centre - Head Office Role - Office Based (No Hybrid)
\nWe are looking for a highly organised and proactive Product Coordinator to join our clients design team. This role is integral to the product development process, acting as the key link between Design, Garment Technology and our overseas suppliers. You will coordinate the approval of fabrics, trims, branding, artwork, packaging and product components, ensuring all development approvals are completed accurately and on time to support the seasonal critical path. Working closely with the design team, you will manage the day-to-day communication with suppliers throughout the development process, ensuring factories receive all approved components and information required to progress products into bulk production.
\nThis role is ideal for someone who enjoys organisation, communication and problem-solving, and wants to play a key role in bringing apparel collections to life.
\nKey Responsibilities
\nComponent & Packaging Development
\nCoordinate the development, sourcing, and approval of all trims, branding labels, and retail packaging. Ensure all packaging and trim items meet cost targets and compliance standards. Colour, Artwork & Fabric Approvals
\nManage the lab dip process from initial submission to final commercial approval.
\nReview and approve strike-off artwork, print placements, and bulk fabric quality.
\nEnsure bulk production fabrics match approved standards for handle, weight, and colour fastness. Develop alternative fabric sourcing solutions where needed. Timeline & Critical Path Management
\nOwn, update, and manage the production critical path daily to track every stage of manufacturing.
\nIdentify potential factory bottlenecks early and implement solutions to prevent delivery delays.
\nMaintain accurate data in internal tracking spreadsheets. Factory Logistics & Communication
\nMaintain daily communication with overseas suppliers and factories regarding order status.
\nEnsure factories receive trim and fabric packs ahead of each season to begin development
\nWork closely with design on this.
\nRequirements & Qualifications
\nExperience: Approx. 3 years of experience in fashion production, sourcing, or product coordination.
\nTechnical Knowledge: Strong understanding of fabric characteristics, lab dip evaluation, print techniques, and garment construction.
\nSystems: Proficiency in Excel and PLM systems is highly desirable.
