Job Overview: Our client is seeking an experienced Change Management Lead to play a critical role in a large-scale global transformation programme within Clinical Operations. This position will focus on leading the people side of change, ensuring successful adoption of new processes, technologies and ways of working across a complex, multinational environment.

  • Location: Cambridge (hybrid – once per week on-site)
  • \n
  • Contract Length: 12 months (with visibility to extend)
  • \n
  • Rate: £550 per day LTD/Umbrella
  • \n

Key Responsibilities

\n
    \n
  • Lead and deliver the change management strategy for a large-scale global transformation programme.
  • \n
  • Partner closely with the Business Programme Lead to ensure successful stakeholder engagement and adoption across the programme.
  • \n
  • Coach senior leaders and stakeholders on change management best practices and effective stakeholder management.
  • \n
  • Assess and manage change impacts across a diverse, international workforce spanning multiple countries and cultures.
  • \n
  • Develop and implement change interventions, communications, engagement strategies and adoption plans.
  • \n
  • Build strong relationships with SMEs, project managers and business leaders to drive alignment and programme success.
  • \n
  • Monitor change readiness, adoption and benefits realisation, ensuring the programme delivers sustainable outcomes.

Key Requirements

\n
    \n
  • Experience delivering change management within large-scale transformation programmes.
  • \n
  • Proven leadership experience in complex, global environments with significant stakeholder impact.
  • \n
  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, including experience engaging senior executive audiences.
  • \n
  • Background in Life Sciences, Pharmaceuticals, Clinical Operations or a related industry.
  • \n
  • Experience supporting global transformation initiatives affecting large, geographically dispersed populations.
  • \n
  • Strong understanding of the people side of change, including organisational adoption, engagement and behavioural change.
  • \n
  • Ability to operate confidently across diverse cultures and environments while building trusted relationships at all levels.
  • \n

Highly Desirable

\n
    \n
  • Experience within Clinical Operations, Study Management or related pharmaceutical functions.
  • \n
  • Knowledge of Clinical Research Associate (CRA) operating models and clinical trial delivery environments.
  • \n
  • Formal Change Management qualifications and experience applying recognised change methodologies.
  • \n
