Some travels to other locations including outside of EMEA may be necessary from time to time. ResponsibilitiesThe Trading Systems Support Analyst will manage the widely-deployed OMS and market data delivery systems involving every major electronic exchange and asset class. Responsibilities will include:Working closely with traders to understand their needsSolving problems by providing level one and level two support for our production systemsContributing to the design and implementation of the support system to enhance reliability and self-correctionEnhancing our existing Python framework, driving its growth and contributing to the codebaseHarnessing AI-powered solutions to significantly reduce time-to-market for system changesContributing to the monitoring stack and reporting on the status and health of our systemsServing as the primary technical contact for brokers and exchangesProviding periodic after-hours coverageQualificationsThe ideal candidate will have previous experience in the finance industry along with:3-5 years working in a high pressure environment, including diagnosing and resolving production issues on the flyGood understanding of electronic trading and/or financial instruments including equities, futures, and optionsThe ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while demonstrating true ownershipStrong Unix skills along with programming skills in Python and experience in Scheduling tools like AirflowExperience working with GrafanaGood understanding of networking and system conceptsThe willingness to take on tasks both big and smallExcellent communication skills and fluency in EnglishA passion for learning and innovative problem-solvingExperience with SQL and the use of databases is a plus BenefitsTower’s headquarters are in the historic Equitable Building, right in the heart of NYC’s Financial District and our impact is global, with over a dozen offices around the world.
