Due to continued growth across its managed services practice, they are seeking an experienced Service Delivery Manager to oversee strategic SAP Application Management Services (AMS) engagements.This is an opportunity to lead high-profile enterprise accounts, working with senior stakeholders to ensure operational excellence, continuous service improvement, and long-term customer success across large-scale SAP environments.Key ResponsibilitiesLead end-to-end delivery of SAP AMS services, ensuring high-quality support across incidents, service requests, problem management, change management, releases, and continuous improvement initiatives.Deliver services in line with agreed SLAs, KPIs, governance frameworks, contractual commitments, and customer expectations.Act as the primary point of contact for client stakeholders, delivery teams, technical specialists, and account management functions.Chair regular governance meetings, providing clear reporting on service performance, risks, ongoing initiatives, and improvement plans.Proactively manage escalations through effective communication, root cause analysis, and preventative action planning.Drive operational excellence through automation, process optimisation, service innovation, and continuous improvement.Support transition activities, service expansions, renewals, and identify opportunities to increase customer value.Experience RequiredExtensive experience delivering SAP Application Management Services (AMS) within complex enterprise environments.Strong understanding of SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA across core business functions including Finance, Procurement, Sales, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Logistics, and Master Data.Exposure to wider SAP technologies including SAP BTP, Ariba, SuccessFactors, Concur, EWM, TM, IBP, SAC, BW/4HANA, middleware, cloud platforms, and reporting solutions.Solid understanding of ITIL service management processes including Incident, Problem, Change, Release, Request Fulfilment, Service Level Management, and Continual Service Improvement.Proven experience managing enterprise stakeholders, service governance, commercial delivery, escalations, and cross-functional delivery teams.Key SkillsExcellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage confidently at senior leadership level.Strong governance and service management capability with a structured approach to risk, issues, actions, and service performance.Commercial awareness with the ability to identify opportunities for service enhancement and long-term account growth.Calm and effective escalation management within complex delivery environments.Ability to lead geographically dispersed teams while fostering a collaborative, customer-focused culture.Preferred QualificationsITIL certification.PMP, PRINCE2, Agile or Scrum certifications.SAP S/4HANA certification or practical implementation experience.Experience with ServiceNow, Jira, Azure DevOps, SAP Solution Manager, or SAP Cloud ALM.The Ideal CandidateYou are an experienced SAP Service Delivery Manager who enjoys building trusted client relationships, leading complex support environments, and driving continual service improvement.
