Shift Reliability Leader

We are recruiting for experienced and forward thinking Shift Reliability Leader . This is full time and permanent position and working for very well established company. Very interesting and varied role with a scope for progression.This is a very exciting time to join a growing company regarded as experts in their industry, with opportunities for employees to develop within their role.Work Pattern:39 hours per weekMon-Fri (overtime weekend available)Shifts rotating every weekly between morning and afternoon shiftDay Shift - 06:00 - 14:00Afternoon Shift - 14:00 - 22:00Department: EngineeringThe role:The role provides expert direction to the team to improve reliability and realise strategic and tactical goals for the site operations. Reliability leader has hands-on responsibility to provide direct support to the shifts and the long-term asset care on site and take responsibility for a team of shift Engineering Technicians in absence of the Asset Care Lead.Key areas of responsibility:Complete and track, work orders / jobs allocation on the CMMS system on daily basis.Develop maintenance plans and asset care packages according to site safety procedures and risk assessmentsManage shift-based engineering activities in collaboration with operating team to achieve shift targetsDevelop and implement training plans to ensure necessary skill mix and capability within the shift-based teamIdentify and raise requisitions for spares used through the operations administratorComplete allocated PPM tasks and submitted PPM reports to the Asset Care LeadSupport and take key roles in the team such as such as duty holder, First aider / Fire MarshallProblem solve and trouble shoot issues specific on individual production equipment to help the plan performance to reach KPIsCarry out continuous improvement tasks identifiedSupervise contractors on site for specific task and take responsibility for them whilst on siteIssue and close work permit if authorised to do soAlways maintain tools and equipment in the workshop in good working orderComply with site technical and food safety standardsMaintain critical infrastructure on site as requiredAccountability:Reporting to the Asset Care Lead with a dotted line to the site ManagerFollow GMP, SHE and Engineering proceduresSupport production prioritising safety, quality and production outputComply with legislative and statutory requirementsDemonstrate company values and follow company policies at all timesPerson specification:Actively championing health and safety and environmentTreat all team members with respect.Demonstrate and operate with high integrityTake ownership & responsibility for your role and deliver to best satisfy people safety, Quality, Delivery, CostStrong attention to detailReliable and fair leader with a can-do attitudeGood communication skills, both verbal and writtenIdeally, can supervise a small team in the absence of the asset care leadPresent asset care plans and plant reliability plan reports to senior ManagementQualifications/Experience required:Electrical and Mechanical qualified within the following rangeDegree /HND/HNC/OND/ONC/Btech or level 3 NVQ or above18th edition wiring regulation, City & Guilds 236/2360 parts 1,2 and C (electrical installation or similar)Experience working on mechanical and electrical aspects of machines and setting up of production equipmentFLT licencePC/IT literateRelevant experience or certification in machine operation / Engineering operationsProven industry experience in a manufacturing or production environmentIOSH or equivalent safety certifiedIf you are interested please apply directly or call Tom Kurczab at Right Match Recruitment Group.INDTKJOBSTPBN1_UKTJ
