They're seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join their multi-disciplinary maintenance team. If you're someone who thrives in a hands-on, fast-paced environment and takes pride in knowledge-sharing and continuous improvement, this could be your ideal next step.The Opportunity:As an Electrical Engineer you'll play a key role in:Carrying out preventative and reactive maintenance across plant machinery and equipmentDiagnosing electrical faults, especially on PLC control systems and instrumentationSupporting the wider team by sharing expertise and upskilling junior engineersContributing to the continuous improvement of PPM strategies and engineering projectsOperating safely and responsibly in a demanding environment, with respect for safety standards and operational efficiencyYour work will directly contribute to minimising downtime, improving plant reliability, and strengthening team capability.About You:We're looking for someone who can bring:Solid experience in electrical engineering within an industrial/process plant environmentStrong skills in fault finding and working with control panels, PLCs, Variable Speed Drives and instrumentationMust have good Health and Safety AwarenessA true team player and be able to work both alone and part of a small teamThe ability to work effectively in challenging conditions (odours, oil residues, corrosive environments)The Benefits and Package:In return, you'll enjoy:Salary: £40,000 - £42,000Regular paid overtime due to ongoing project workMonday to Friday day shift (08:00 to 16:30), 40-hour weekOpportunity to work in a site undergoing continuous investment and improvementHow to Apply:This exciting Days Electrical Engineer opportunity is being managed by Consortium Professional Recruitment, a trusted recruitment partner.
