School Minibus Supervisor

Our client, an educational establishment located in Blackheath, are seeking to recruit a Temporary Minibus Supervisor.You will be responsible for ensuring that all pupils are seated and behaving appropriately throughout the journey. Additionally responsible for escorting junior pupils either into school or handling over their care to a member of the Junior School staff.Hours: 6.30 am 8.30 am Monday to Friday TTOStart Date: September 2026A current Enhanced DBS for Children is essential to apply for this role.Duties:To be at the school bus departure point or agreed pick up point at least 5 minutes beforeGet of the bus at each stop and assist pupils onto the bus, ensuring that seat belts are securely fastenedEnsure a daily register of passengers is maintained and passed to the Director of Finance & Operations on a weekly basisEnsure that noise levels are kept at an acceptable level so as not to distract the driverAnswer the school mobile phone when the bus is in transitEnsure all litter is disposed of at the journeys endIn the event of an accident or breakdown, stay with the pupils and supervise them until assistance arrives. Where necessary, if the driver is unable to do so, contact breakdown services and/or emergency services and school office to advise of the situationIn the event of a delay, and in consultation with the driver, ensure all parents on the register are contact and kept up-to-date.Please Note:Due to the high volume of CVs we receive it is not viable for us to respond to individuals.
