We are seeking a hands-on, proactive Assurance & Compliance Manager to review, enhance, and embed our existing internal control and assurance framework.In this critical role, you will move quickly from a standing start to design, document, and test a system-enforced control environment. You will provide the Senior Leadership Team and the Board with total confidence that key enterprise risks are effectively managed.Key ResponsibilitiesInternal Controls: Design, document, and embed a best-in-class Internal Control Framework, including robust segregation of duties.Framework Ownership: Maintain and enforce the Delegated Authority Matrix and overall audit readiness.Risk Management: Collaborate across the Group to support the Risk Register review cycle, maintain the risk heat map, and track mitigation accountability.Governance Partnership: Work alongside the Head of EHS & Governance to assess broader enterprise risk and control effectiveness.What We Are Looking ForQualifications: Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or equivalent).Experience: Strong background in practice or external audit is highly preferred.Skills: Proven ability to build, document, and test compliance frameworks from scratch.Mindset: A hands-on deliverer who thrives in setting up new processes and governance structures.Benefits PackageFinancial: 8% Company Pension scheme | Life Assurance | Sick PayWork-Life Balance: 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays | Hybrid workingPerks & Culture: Free on-site parking | Cycle to work scheme | Regular company eventsRobert Half Ltd acts as an employment business for temporary positions and an employment agency for permanent positions.
