You'll be part of an inclusive culture that values diversity, rewards integrity, and merit, and where you'll be empowered to fulfil your potential.What is expected from me?As a qualified Caulker you will have an important role within the business to stay professional throughout your contract delivering to the highest standard ensuring Safety, Health and Environmental regulations are followed.Job DescriptionAs a Caulker, you will be working on new equipment and machinery which is brought into the area to update the existing infrastructuresThis role will give you a varied work day as you will be working on new improvement process and development currently in place to reduce cost/timescales without compromising quality.Working closely with the welding an quality teams to ensure that their work meets current quality standards on a daily basisGauging the circumferential butts of the submarine, this would also include hatches, water tight doors, air locks etcRequirements- Qualifications & Compliance: Holds a full Engineering Modern Apprenticeship, trade papers.- Must be comfortable working in confined spaces and or at height- Safety certification i.e. SHE Induction, COSHH Awareness, working at height etc- Background in marine, Oil and Gas, major construction / manufacturing environmentBenefits- Build your portfolio by working on advanced defence project- Provide security for our country and allies for decades to come- Permanent opportunities with leader in the defence and security sectorNext steps- If interested in finding out more information regarding the role, please click apply and one of the team members will be in touch to discuss the role furtherTPBN1_UKTJ
