Front of House Team Member

We're looking for Front of House Team Members to join the team at a truly unique and historic venue: The Tan Hill Inn.

Roles available offer breathtaking settings, a welcoming atmosphere, and the chance to be part of something special.

The Tan Hill Inn, famously the highest pub in Britain, is nestled in the stunning Swaledale landscape. A popular spot with walkers, cyclists, and visitors from all over the world, it's a lively and unforgettable place to work.

What we need from you to apply:

• Front of House experience is preferred, but not essential training provided
\n
• You must live within a 30-mile radius of DL11 6ED
\n
• Willing and keen to learn
\n
• Friendly, bubbly personality
\n
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment
\n
• A team player who is happy to help where needed
\n
• Good attention to detail
\n
• Flexible to help cover staff shortages at the sister site if required
\n
• Driving Licence is essential due to the location
\n

What this role involves:

\n
• Welcoming and seating guests
\n
• Taking food and drink orders accurately
\n
• Delivering excellent customer service at all times
\n
• Keeping front of house areas clean and organised
\n
• Working closely with the kitchen team
\n
• Supporting bar duties when required, including serving drinks
\n
• Following food safety and hygiene standards
\n

Pay (dependent on age):

\n
• Under 18 years: £8 per hour, plus tips
\n
• 1820 years: £10.85 per hour, plus tips
\n
• 21+ years: £12.71 per hour, up to £14 per hour, plus tips
\n

Hours: Working full-time over 5 days or part-time hours available - day shifts, weekends and evenings between 16 and 40 hours per week. Hours to be agreed at interview stage.
