£35,000 to £42,000per year, depending on experience (negotiable for the right candidate)

The Company

A busy workshop looking to bring in a Mechanic or Vehicle Technician to strengthen their team. They are open on experience level, so whether you are already highly experienced or simply have the right attitude, strong mechanical ability and a passion for the industry, they would be interested in speaking with you.

The Role

A varied role working across both private and commercial vehicles, carrying out servicing, maintenance, repairs and fault finding in a busy workshop environment. You will use diagnostic equipment, technical manuals and workshop tools daily, so they are looking for someone confident on the tools and capable of working independently when required.

• Servicing vehicles and carrying out routine maintenance
\n
• Diagnosing faults using diagnostic equipment
\n
• Repairing or replacing components
\n
• Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard while following health and safety procedures
\n
• Working one Saturday every other week
\n

The Candidate

\n
• Mechanical ability and a genuine interest in the industry
\n
• Confident on the tools and able to work independently
\n
• Organised, reliable and motivated
\n
• Good problem solving ability and attention to detail
\n
• Welding experience and previous workshop experience an advantage, though not essential for the right person
\n
