Senior Commercial Underwriter

I am representing a well-established and market leading insurance business focused within mid-market. Focusing on Property and Casualty risks they are looking to bolster their underwriting team in the North, with the addition of a Senior Commercial Underwriter.

Focusing on renewals you will possess the capability to hit the ground running, operating in the mid-market with premiums ranging from £5000- £150,00, made up predominantly of Property and Casualty insurance, as well as Property Owners and CAR. There is an opportunity to additionally focus on developing new business, with autonomy in terms of who to trade with across the broker market, depending on potential existing relationships and previous success here.

Essentially you will come from an underwriting environment with good knowledge of Property and Casualty lines of business, and you must be organised and diligent with a flexible approach and excellent communication skills.
