Our client is seeking a talented Senior Town Planner to join their growing team in Tunbridge Wells. As a Senior Town Planner, you will play a key role in delivering planning advice and managing projects from inception through to completion, while building strong relationships with clients, local authorities and key stakeholders.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Managing a varied portfolio of planning projects across multiple sectors.
\n
• Preparing and submitting planning applications, appeals and site promotion strategies.
\n
• Providing clear and commercially focused planning advice to clients.
\n
• Undertaking site appraisals and planning due diligence assessments.
\n
• Managing relationships with local authorities, consultees and stakeholders.
\n
• Supporting junior team members through mentoring and technical guidance.
\n
• Assisting with business development activities and helping to identify new opportunities.
\n

The successful candidate will have:

• A degree in Town Planning or a related discipline.
\n
• MRTPI qualification (or working towards chartership with relevant experience).
\n
• Proven experience within a planning consultancy, local authority or development environment.
\n
• Strong knowledge of the UK planning system and planning policy.
\n
• Excellent report writing, communication and project management skills.
\n
• The ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
\n
• A proactive and commercially minded approach.
\n
