Private Client Solicitor - Wills and Trusts (3PQE)

We are seeking a Legal Advisor with expertise in Wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney, Trusts, and capacity issues including deputyship. This role involves providing high-quality legal services to clients and assisting in the coordination of the team’s activities to achieve business objectives. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in legal case management and a minimum of 3 years post-qualification experience (PQE).
\nDay-to-day of the role:

- Conduct initial consultations and client triage as required. \n
- Prepare Wills and provide advice on Trusts, capacity, and Inheritance Tax. \n
- Advise on Lasting Powers of Attorney, handling applications and registrations. \n
- Liaise with clients on probate matters and deputyships. \n
- Manage ongoing cases effectively and maintain organised and updated files in accordance with firm policies. \n
- Participate in networking and business development activities to generate workflows. \n
- Review and manage Work in Progress (WIP) and client financing for ongoing matters. \n
- Meet monthly and year-end fee targets. \n
- Attend team meetings and relevant courses to enhance professional development. \n
- Ensure compliance with company standards and procedures. \n
Required Skills & Qualifications:

- 3+ years PQE in Wills, Trusts, and estate planning. \n
- Experience in managing a personal workload and setting priorities to meet deadlines. \n
- Strong organisational and administrative skills. \n
- Proficient in using legal software systems like DPS for documentation and correspondence. \n
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of handling client consultations and networking. \n
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. \n
