Job Description

Reed FE are currently seeking an experienced Apprenticeship Trainer for Electrical Installations.. This role is ideal for someone who has a strong background in delivering Level 3 Electrical Installation qualifications and is passionate about guiding apprentices through their educational journey to successful completion.Apprenticeship Trainer – Electrical Installations

  • Job Type: Full-time (36 hours per week, Monday to Friday)

  • Contract: Permanent preferred, will consider temporary to permanent

Day-to-day of the role:

    \n
  • Responsible for training, assessing, and supporting Level 3 Electrical Installation apprentices.
  • \n
  • Prepare learners for End Point Assessment (EPA) ensuring they meet the required standards.
  • \n
  • Engage regularly with employers to review apprentice progress and ensure alignment with training objectives.
  • \n
  • Monitor and manage Off-the-Job training requirements to comply with apprenticeship standards.
  • \n
  • Conduct regular progress reviews with apprentices to ensure continuous development and address any learning gaps.
  • \n

Required Skills & Qualifications:

    \n
  • Recognised Level 3 Electrical Installation qualification (or higher).
  • \n
  • Experience delivering City & Guilds 5357 Electrical Installation qualifications.
  • \n
  • Proven experience in apprenticeship delivery and a good understanding of EPA processes.
  • \n
  • Teaching qualification (PGCE, Cert Ed, QTS) or willingness to work towards one.
  • \n
  • Strong ability to support apprentices and collaborate with employers throughout the apprenticeship journey.
  • \n
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • \n
