Responsible for overseeing operations and the handling and remediation of Cyber Security Incidents that could affect QBE’s business operations. Manage the day-to-day operations of threat monitoring and proper execution of Incident Response plan. As part of the QBE team, you’ll get to spend everyday working with people who are passionate, talented and kind.Your new roleIn this role, you will lead QBE’s global Security Operations function, overseeing 24/7 cyber incident response and ensuringstrong governance, consistency, and effectiveness across all regions. You’ll work closely with senior stakeholders tostrengthen QBE’s security posture, drive continuous improvement, and ensure the organisation is well prepared to respond toevolving cyber threats.Key responsibilities include:• Leading global security operations and incident response services across a 24/7 environment• Owning and driving consistent security operations and incident response processes across all regions• Overseeing cyber incident management, including escalation, communication, and executive reporting• Driving SOC2 Type II certification and ensuring ongoing compliance with security standards• Developing and delivering clear reporting and metrics for executive leadership and the Board• Leading continuous improvement initiatives aligned to NIST and industry best practiceAbout youWe’re looking for a strong security leader who brings deep technical expertise alongside the ability to operate at a strategiclevel.
