Physiotherapist – Neurological Rehabilitation Location: Peterborough Salary: Band 5 £28,000–£35,000 | Band 6 £36,000–£43,000 Hours: Full-time or part-time Employment: Permanent The Role We are recruiting for a Physiotherapist to join a specialist neurological rehabilitation service in Peterborough. This opportunity would suit an experienced Physiotherapist or newly qualified Physiotherapist with a particular interest in neurology and rehabilitation. You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team supporting individuals with a range of progressive and acquired neurological conditions, delivering rehabilitation and maintenance programmes tailored to individual needs. Key Responsibilities Assess, plan and deliver individualised physiotherapy programmes. Support rehabilitation and maintenance programmes for residents with complex neurological conditions. Work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team. Contribute to the ongoing assessment and review of patients' rehabilitation needs. Support and supervise Therapy Technicians, Therapy Assistants and students where appropriate. Maintain high standards of clinical practice, safeguarding and patient care. Participate in continuing professional development and training. About You We are interested in hearing from Physiotherapists who have: HCPC registration. A genuine interest in neurology and neurorehabilitation. Experience within rehabilitation, or a strong interest in developing within this area. Experience of tracheostomy care is desirable. Excellent communication and multidisciplinary working skills. A compassionate, patient-centred approach. The ability to work effectively with individuals with complex and progressive conditions.Newly qualified Physiotherapists with a strong interest in neurological rehabilitation are also encouraged to apply.
