Precision Grinder

Our engineering client is looking for a Grinder to join their busy team in Dorset, manufacturing high-precision engineering components.The role will involve:Carrying out precision grinding and honing operationsWorking from engineering drawings and specificationsUsing micrometers, verniers and gaugesWorking accurately to tight tolerancesInspecting components to ensure quality standards are metLearning and developing new machining techniquesCandidates should have completed an engineering apprenticeship or equivalent vocational training, with a good understanding of engineering principles and precision measurement.Previous grinding, honing, milling, turning or CNC experience would be beneficial, although specialist training can be provided.Hours: MondayThursday: 7:30am5:00pm Friday: 7:30am11:30am 40 hours per weekPay: £16£18 per hour, depending on experienceBenefits:Permanent positionOvertime paid at 1.5x5% pension contributionSpecialist training and developmentEarly finish every FridayThis is an excellent opportunity to develop specialist skills within a growing precision engineering company.TPBN1_UKTJ
