Quantity Surveyor

Dartford£50,000 - £55,000 per annumMonday - Friday (8:00-17:00)We are currently recruiting for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join a growing Facilities Management business, taking responsibility for the financial control of mechanical projects up to £3m .This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded Quantity Surveyor with a strong MEP/mechanical background looking to take ownership of project costs from initial estimating through to completion.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare detailed cost estimates, budgets and forecasts.Monitor project expenditure and identify cost variances.Implement effective cost-control measures.Manage procurement and support contract negotiations.Work closely with Project Managers, Engineers and Contractors.Carry out regular site visits to assess progress and verify quantities.Prepare financial reports, forecasts and risk assessments.Monitor project performance against budgets.Ensure contractual, legal and industry compliance.Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce costs.What We're Looking ForProven experience as a Quantity Surveyor or in a similar commercial role.Minimum 3 years' MEP experience.Strong knowledge of cost control, budgeting and financial reporting.Experience working on mechanical or MEP projects.Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills.Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.Good knowledge of estimating and project management software.Strong communication and organisational skills.What's on Offer£45,000-£55,000 salaryOpportunity to work on projects up to £3mProfit-sharing schemeCompany pensionOn-site parkingCasual dressDartford-based opportunityIf you're an experienced Quantity Surveyor with a strong mechanical/MEP background and are looking for your next opportunity within Facilities Management, we'd love to hear from you.TPBN1_UKTJ
