Due to expansion, we are now recruiting for additional Production Operators to join us on a full time, permanent basis.About the Machine Operator role:This is a key role where you will set up machines to start a production cycle, control and adjust the machine settings and feed raw material or parts into semi-automated machines.Your goal is to ensure that production procedures are carried out smoothly to maximise efficiency and profits whilst maintaining a safe operating environment at all times.In addition to this you will be responsible for:Setting up machines (calibration, cleaning etc.) to start a production cycleControlling and adjust machine settings (e.g. speed)Feeding raw material or parts to semi-automated machinesInspecting parts with precision and measuring toolsTesting operation of machines periodicallyFixing issues that might occur during the shiftChecking output to spot any machine-related mistakes or flawsKeeping records of approved and defective units or final productsMaintaining activity logsUsing forklift to move raw materials, semi-processed and finished goods.Cleaning of production area's to a high standard.In order to be successful in this role you must have:Proven experience as a machine operator.Working knowledge of diverse high-speed machinery and measurement tools (caliper, micrometer etc.)Understanding of production proceduresAdherence to health and safety regulations (e.g. constant use of protective gear)Analytical skillsAttention to detailTeamwork and communication skillsPhysical stamina and strengthHigh school diploma or equivalent; technical degree is a plusValid forklift drivers licence desirableIf you feel you have the necessary skills and experience to be successful in this role, click on APPLY today, forwarding an up-to-date copy of your CV for consideration in the first instance.No agencies please.TPBN1_UKTJ
