Senior Hearings Officer - Committee Secretary
Job Description
A healthcare regulatory body are seeking an interim Senior Hearings Officer – Committee Secretary to join on a temporary basis for four months.
\nYou will sit as a Committee Secretary in hearings, providing support, advice and guidance to the Chair and Committee Members and summarise cases and prepare draft determinations, reflecting the Committee’s decisions.
\nTo be considered, you will have in-depth knowledge of adjudicatory or regulatory fitness to practise hearings, and experience of drafting as a Committee Clerk/Panel Secretary – producing full detailed decisions.
\nYou will be expected to attend the office 1 – 2 days a week, although most hearings will take place remotely. You can expect an hourly rate of £26.29 - £30.51 per hour + holiday pay (PAYE) or £35.62 - £41.40 per hour (Umbrella), dependent on experience. This contract has an immediate start and will run until 31st December 2026.
