\n\nWe are looking for Social Sciences Sessional Tutors to join our team.
\n\nAs a Sessional Tutor at University of Nottingham International College, you will join our successful team and provide stimulating, effective teaching to international students preparing to study on undergraduate and/or postgraduate programmes. We’re looking for individuals with knowledge and expertise in Social Science programmes.
\n\nThis is an excellent opportunity for a knowledgeable, enthusiastic Social Science tutor who is looking to expand their skills and build their career with an industry leader.
\n\nWhat you’ll bring to the role

- Experience of teaching to post 16 students (a teaching qualification would be an advantage). \n
- The ability to plan, deliver and review a range of learning activities that guide and support students to achieve and flourish. \n
- The ability to develop and update innovative teaching material that engages all students. \n
- The ability to work collaboratively as part of a range of different teams in order to continually improve the student experience. \n
- Flexibility and willingness to work under pressure to deadlines in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. \n
- A strong commitment to continuous professional development and a proven track record of using this to enhance the student experience. \n
- Demonstrable experience of using technology to inform teaching practice and a willingness to embrace innovations. \n
- A Post Graduate qualification but strong first degree or relevant professional experience will be considered. \n
- If teaching English language, then a DELTA or equivalent qualification. Those with CELTA plus relevant experience will also be considered. \n
