\n About the RoleOur client, a leading architectural metalwork specialist based in Horley, is seeking a skilled, reliable, and hard-working Welder / Fabricator to join their established workshop team.\n
\n
\n They design, manufacture, and install high-end architectural metalwork for both residential and commercial projects. Their diverse product range includes bespoke staircases, balustrades, structural canopies, fire escapes, access ramps, and custom fabrications.\n
\n
\n Working within a dedicated team of 4–5 fabricators, you will play a key role in taking projects from initial technical drawings through to final assembly and high-quality finishing.\n

- Reading and accurately interpreting engineering and architectural working drawings.
\n - Fabricating architectural metalwork structures using mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminium.
\n - Operating workshop machinery, including press brakes (folding), cutting, and shaping equipment.
\n - Carrying out high-standard MIG and TIG welding across various gauges and materials.
\n - Prepping, grinding, and finishing products to exact quality standards prior to installation or surface treatment.
\n - Collaborating effectively with team members to meet production schedules safely and efficiently.

Experience: Proven track record in metal fabrication and welding, ideally within the architectural metalwork sector.

Welding Skills: Proficient in both MIG and TIG welding across mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminium.
\n -
Technical Skills: Confident reading fabrication drawings and operating shop machinery (press brake experience is essential).
\n -
Quality Focus: High attention to detail with pride in delivering neat welds and clean product finishes.
