We're currently recruiting for a Maintenance Technician for our client covering North London, South London and Kent.

\n

The ideal candidate must have proven experience as a Maintenance Technician / Multi Trade.

\n

Candidates must be a UK Resident.

\n

You will need to hold a full UK driving licence.

\n

Salary and benefits package for the role of Maintenance Technician:

  • Basic £35,000 - £40,000
  • \n
  • Van can be provided
  • \n
  • Monday to Friday 9.30am - 5.30pm
  • \n
  • Weekend availability

Responsibilities for the role of Maintenance Technician:

\n
    \n
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on machinery and equipment, ensuring optimal performance
  • \n
  • Conduct regular inspections of flats and properties to identify maintenance needs
  • \n
  • Perform general repairs including simple plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting tasks
  • \n
  • Respond promptly to maintenance requests from tenants or property managers
  • \n
  • Carry out routine servicing of heating, ventilation, air conditioning systems
  • \n
  • Maintain and repair household appliances, locks, doors, and windows
  • \n
  • Ensure that communal areas and external grounds are well maintained
  • \n
  • Work with external contractors when necessary for specialised repairs
  • \n
  • Keep records of maintenance work completed and report any major issues
  • \n
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
  • \n
  • Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues
  • \n
  • Provide exceptional customer service when interacting with clients or other departments
  • \n

Key Skills for the role of Maintenance Technician:

  • Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician / Multi Trade
  • \n
  • Strong knowledge of general maintenance practices including plumbing, electrical and carpentry
  • \n
  • Ability to use a variety of hand and power tools
  • \n
  • Good troubleshooting skills and attention to detail
  • \n
  • Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently
  • \n
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • \n
  • Basic knowledge of health and safety regulations
  • \n
  • Customer service-oriented mindset with a focus on quality work
  • \n
  • Must hold a full UK driving licence
  • \n
