Technical Trainer – Automotive Salary: £40,170 + Company Car or £4,200 Car AllowanceLocation: ReadingAre you an experienced Senior, Diagnostic or Master Technician considering your next move away from the workshop?This is an opportunity to use the knowledge you've built throughout your career in a different environment, training and developing technicians across the BMW retailer network.You'll still be working hands-on with modern vehicles, diagnostics and the latest automotive technology, but without the day-to-day pressures of a busy dealership workshop.No previous teaching experience is required. If you're coming directly from industry, you'll receive full support and funded teaching qualifications.The role:\n

• Deliver practical, hands-on automotive training
\n
• Train technicians on diagnostics, fault finding, electrical systems and modern vehicle technology
\n
• Demonstrate repair and diagnostic procedures in a workshop environment
\n
• Coach technicians and help develop their technical ability
\n
• Carry out technical competency assessments
\n
• Deliver a mixture of workshop and classroom-based sessions
\n

What we're looking for:\n

\n
• Senior Technician, Master Technician, Diagnostic Technician or experienced Automotive Technician
\n
• Level 3 Automotive qualification
\n
• Strong diagnostics and fault-finding experience
\n
• Good knowledge of modern vehicle and electrical systems
\n
• Someone who enjoys helping and developing other technicians
\n
