MIG Welder / Fabricator / Repair Technician (Temporary 6-8 Week Assignment)

Location: Bourne

Pay Rate: £15.00 - £16.00 per hour (depending on experience)

Contract: Temporary (6-8 weeks)

Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30am - 5:00pm

The Role

We are seeking an experienced MIG Welder / Fabricator / Repair Technician to join our clients team on a temporary basis for approximately 6-8 weeks to support a busy workload and holiday cover requirements.

The successful candidate will be responsible for welding, cutting, repairing, and fabricating wearing parts used on agricultural machinery, ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and in line with health and safety requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• MIG welding on agricultural machinery components
\n
• Cutting and fabricating replacement and wearing parts
\n
• Repairing damaged machinery components and equipment
\n
• Reading and working from drawings where required
\n
• Maintaining a safe and tidy working environment
\n
• Carrying out quality checks on completed work
\n

Candidate Requirements

\n
• Previous experience in MIG welding and fabrication
\n
• Experience repairing machinery or heavy equipment is desirable
\n
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
\n
• Good attention to detail and quality workmanship
\n
• Knowledge of health and safety procedures within a workshop environment
\n

PPE

Candidates who have their own:

\n
• Welding helmet/headpiece
\n
• Safety boots
\n

would be preferred; however, all other required PPE and equipment will be provided by Agri Linc.

Working Hours & Pay

• Monday to Friday
\n
• Start time: 7:30am
\n
• Finish time: 5:00pm
\n
• 1-hour unpaid lunch break
\n
• Typical working day: 8-9 hours
\n
• £15.00 - £16.00 per hour, dependent on experience
\n
