Role: Mechanical CAD DesignerType: Permanent, Full TimeHours: Day ShiftsSalary: £45,000 – £50,000 per annum (depending on experience)Location: Coventry, West MidlandsOwen Daniels are recruiting on behalf of a leading engineering and manufacturing business in Coventry is recruiting for a Mechanical CAD Designer due to growth in the business.Mechanical CAD Designer:\n

\n
• Assist and develop the design of electro/mechanical rotating equipment.
\n
• Create accurate 3D CAD models, assemblies and manufacturing drawings, ideally using SolidWorks, along with supporting engineering calculations and design checks.
\n
• Develop practical, cost-effective designs that meet technical, quality, safety, compliance and manufacturing requirements.
\n
• Work closely with engineering, manufacturing, testing and quality teams.
\n
• Investigate design and production issues, recommend improvements, and maintain accurate technical drawings, reports and design documentation.
\n

Mechanical CAD Designer:\n

\n
• Degree-qualified in Mechanical Engineering or similar discipline.
\n
• Experienced in a mechanical design position within a regulated industry.
\n
• Strong proficiency in 3D CAD and technical drawing creation (SolidWorks preferred).
\n
• Strong attention to detail and able to resolve design issues.
\n
• Ability to work effectively with different engineering teams.
\n
