The level and salary offered will depend on the successful candidate's experience. Previous Employment Law experience would be highly desirable, although candidates with strong legal support experience from another practice area will also be considered. The Role Working closely with an Employment Law fee earner, you will provide a broad range of administrative and legal support to help ensure matters are managed efficiently from opening through to completion. Your responsibilities will include:\n

• Opening and closing client files using the firm's case management system
\n
• Completing compliance and anti-money laundering checks
\n
• Liaising with clients, arranging appointments and responding to general queries
\n
• Preparing and processing invoices
\n
• Maintaining accurate client records and filing systems
\n
• Liaising with third parties including barristers, the Employment Tribunal and other law firms
\n
• Preparing correspondence and supporting documentation
\n
• General legal administration including scanning, filing, photocopying and data entry
\n
• Providing wider support to the Employment Law team as required
\n

About You We are interested in speaking with candidates who have:\n

\n
• Previous experience within a law firm, legal support or professional services environment
\n
• Employment Law experience, ideally, although this is not essential
\n
• Experience as a Legal Assistant, Legal Secretary or Paralegal
\n
• Excellent organisational and time-management skills
\n
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
\n
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
\n
• A professional, friendly and client-focused approach
\n
• Confidence using Microsoft Office including Word, Outlook and Excel
\n
• Experience using a legal case management system would be advantageous
\n
