New 4-Bed Childrens Home | Lead the Registration & Opening | Salary up to £80,000Are you an experienced Childrens Residential Registered Manager looking for the opportunity to lead a brand-new home from the very beginning?Leaders In Care are working with an ambitious provider who are opening a new 4-bedded childrens home in Harrow . The home is based within a fully prepared 7-bedroom property and currently has no children placed, giving the successful candidate the opportunity to establish the home, shape the team and build a high-quality service from the ground up.The provider already has an Responsible Individual (RI) in place and is looking for a strong Registered Manager to take ownership of the home and lead it through the Ofsted registration process and opening .The Role As Registered Manager, you will have a key role in developing and managing the home, ensuring children receive outstanding care while maintaining full compliance with Ofsted and the Childrens Homes Regulations.You will be responsible for:Leading the home through the Ofsted registration and opening processDeveloping a strong, child-focused team and positive cultureManaging staff, rotas, supervision, training and performanceMaintaining high standards of safeguarding, care and complianceManaging referrals, placement matching, risk assessments and care plansBuilding effective relationships with families, professionals and multi-agency partnersEnsuring the home meets the Childrens Homes Regulations 2015 and Quality StandardsPreparing for and managing future Ofsted inspectionsTaking ownership of the day-to-day running and development of the homeAbout You We are looking for an experienced and confident residential childcare professional who can take ownership of a new service and help establish it to a high standard.You will ideally have:34+ years' experience in children's residential care managementPrevious experience as an Ofsted Registered Manager is highly desirableExperience working with children within residential settings, including EBD and/or learning disabilitiesA Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare , or currently working towards itStrong knowledge of Ofsted, Childrens Homes Regulations 2015 and the Quality StandardsExcellent understanding of safeguarding, safer recruitment and complianceExperience leading teams, managing rotas and providing effective supervisionStrong experience with referrals, risk assessments, care planning and placement matchingThe confidence to work with Ofsted and lead the home through registration and inspectionStrong communication, leadership and organisational skillsWhats on Offer £65,000 £80,000 salary , depending on experienceOpportunity to lead a brand-new 4-bedded children's homeSignificant autonomy to shape the home and establish the teamOpportunity to take the home through Ofsted registration and openingSupport from an experienced provider and Responsible Individual already in placeLong-term progression and development opportunitiesA genuinely exciting opportunity to make your mark on a new serviceIf you're an experienced Children's Residential Manager who is ready to take the next step and build a new home from the ground up , this could be an excellent opportunity.Apply today or get in touch with Leaders In Care for a confidential conversation about the role.TPBN1_UKTJ
