If so, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.We're hiring on behalf of a well-established manufacturing business in East Yorkshire that is investing heavily in its engineering team.The Role As a Shift Electrical Maintenance Technician, you'll play a crucial role in maintaining and improving plant reliability. You'll be responsible for both electrical and mechanical maintenance, working as part of a multi-skilled team to ensure machinery runs efficiently and safely.Key ResponsibilitiesPlanned and reactive maintenance on production equipmentElectrical fault finding and repair, including motors, control panels and PLC fault findingMechanical maintenance on conveyors, pumps, and hydraulicsEnsuring strict compliance with Health & Safety standardsCarrying out continuous improvement projects to enhance efficiency and reliabilityWorking closely with production teams to minimise downtimeWhat We're Looking ForTime-served Engineer with strong electrical skills and relevant qualifications (NVQ Level 3, HNC, or equivalent)Proven experience in a process, manufacturing, chemical or FMCG environmentStrong knowledge of Health & Safety procedures (LOTO, Risk Assessments, Permit to Work, etc.)Ability to work effectively in a rotating 12-hour shift pattern (Days & Nights)Knowledge of PLC fault finding and control systemsWhat's in It for You£56,167 base salary + overtime opportunitiesPrivate healthcare and excellent benefits package including up to 10% pension matchJob security in a growing business with continued investment in people and technologyOngoing training and career progression in a supportive environmentConsortium Professional Recruitment Ltd are a professional level recruitment consultancy specialising in the delivery of high relevance recruitment services on behalf of our clients across the UK.
