\nA well-established multidisciplinary consultancy is seeking an Intermediate Mechanical Design Engineer to join its growing M&E team in Essex.

The successful Intermediate Mechanical Design Engineer will support projects from concept through to completion, delivering high-quality mechanical building services design.

Day-to-Day
\nAs an Intermediate Mechanical Design Engineer, you will:
\n- \n
- Develop mechanical building services designs. \n
- Attend client and project meetings. \n
- Work with multidisciplinary teams. \n
- Carry out site visits and inspections. \n
- Prepare technical reports and specifications. \n
- Review designs against relevant standards. \n
- Provide technical input during tender processes. \n
Responsibilities
\nThe Intermediate Mechanical Design Engineer will also be responsible for:
\n- \n
- Supporting projects from concept through to completion. \n
- Producing detailed designs and technical documentation. \n
- Liaising with clients and project stakeholders. \n
- Reviewing tenders and providing recommendations. \n
- Monitoring project progress and supporting site delivery. \n
- Ensuring compliance with QA standards and regulations. \n
Qualifications
\nThe ideal Intermediate Mechanical Design Engineer will have:
\n- \n
- Degree in Mechanical or Building Services Engineering. \n
- Previous mechanical building services design experience. \n
- Proficiency with IES, AutoCAD and Revit. \n
- Knowledge of Building Regulations, CIBSE guidance and industry standards. \n
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle. \n
- Strong communication and organisational skills. \n
