T&K Associates are working in partnership with our prestigious Client based in Cadeby to recruit a Maintenance Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis.
\nWe are looking for a hardworking enthusiastic individual that has previous experience and wants to work within the plastics industry. Our Client offers fantastic training and some excellent rewards including a weekly bonus.
\nMaintenance Engineer Job Details & Benefits;

- Permanent position \n
- £34,320-£41,184 per annum including a weekly bonus \n
- Weekly bonus (average £60) \n
- Days 6am-2pm, afternoons 2pm-10pm & nights 10pm-6am \n
- Loyalty Bonus up to £1,000 payable after 3 years \n

Maintenance Engineer Role & Responsibilities include;
\n- \n
- Conducting preventative maintenance on all plant machinery \n
- Attending machine breakdowns and carrying out repairs/change overs efficiently, to ensure minimum down time \n
- Troubleshooting and fault-finding defects on machinery and carrying out repairs as necessary \n
- Ensuring adequate supply of essential parts and ordering of parts when required \n
- Updating records and maintenance logs \n
- Maintaining the upkeep of all working areas \n
- Fabricating work may also be required \n
- Ensuring compliance with the Companys policies; including Health & Safety \n
- Observing and complying with all good working practices within the company \n
- Carrying out any other reasonable request made by management, to support departmental or company objectives \n
Maintenance Engineer Person Specification;
\n- \n
- A minimum of 3 years experience in Heavy Plant / Machinery maintenance \n
- Must have experience within the plastics industry \n
- Knowledge electrics engines, transmission, hydraulics, pneumatics, and basic electrical systems \n
- Be hard working and conscientious using initiative to reach suitable resolutions without constant supervision \n
- Ability to follow instructions and prioritise workload in systematic order \n
- Ability to work on your own initiative and as part of a team demonstrating a good work ethic \n
- Excellent organisation and communication skills \n
- A good understanding of Health & Safety \n
