\nCopello are partnering with a leading global manufacturing business to recruit a Manufacturing Team Manager. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced production or operations professional looking to lead a high-performing manufacturing team within a fast-paced engineering environment.
\nThe successful candidate will take ownership of a defined production area, ensuring products are delivered safely, efficiently and to the highest quality standards. You'll play a key role in driving operational performance, developing teams, and embedding a culture of continuous improvement.
\nKey Responsibilities

- Lead day-to-day manufacturing operations across your designated production area. \n
- Manage, coach and develop both hourly and salaried team members, ensuring resources are effectively aligned to production demand. \n
- Drive operational excellence through Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives. \n
- Champion a positive safety culture, ensuring best practice is embedded across the production environment. \n
- Deliver against key operational KPIs, including productivity, quality, on-time delivery and operational efficiency. \n
- Identify opportunities to improve manufacturing processes, reduce waste and increase performance. \n
- Work closely with maintenance and facilities teams to maximise equipment availability and plant performance. \n
- Foster a collaborative, engaged and high-performing team culture by recognising success, developing capability and empowering individuals to make decisions. \n
- Provide clear leadership, direction and support to achieve business objectives. \n
About You
\nWe're keen to speak with candidates who have:
\n- \n
- A degree qualification or equivalent industry experience. \n
- Previous experience within a manufacturing or operations leadership role. \n
- Experience managing, coaching and developing production teams. \n
- A strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement methodologies, including tools such as 6S, Value Stream Mapping, Standard Work and Visual Management. \n
- Proven problem-solving experience using structured improvement techniques such as A3 or 8D. \n
- Strong communication, leadership and stakeholder management skills. \n
- The ability to prioritise competing demands while maintaining high standards of quality and delivery. \n
- A proactive approach with a genuine passion for developing people and driving positive change. \n
