Reed Education are seeking an experienced and confident Cover Supervisor to support a successful secondary school in Grimsby on an ongoing temporary basis.

This role will suit a cover supervisor who enjoys the variety of working across different subjects, can build rapport quickly, and can manage a classroom effectively while delivering pre-planned lessons.

Key Responsibilities:

\n
• Supervising classes in the absence of the class teacher
\n
• Delivering pre-prepared work to students across KS3–KS4
\n
• Managing classroom behaviour in line with school policies
\n
• Supporting students’ learning and ensuring they remain on task
\n
• Providing feedback to teaching staff after each lesson
\n

What We’re Looking For:

\n
• Previous experience as a Cover Supervisor or similar classroom-based role
\n
• Confident behaviour-management skills
\n
• Ability to engage and motivate students
\n
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
\n
• Flexibility to work across a range of subjects
\n
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
\n
