Competition & Antitrust Lawyer

Jameson Legal is instructed on a new Competition role with one of our city firm clients, to work on a broad spectrum of both contentious and non-contentious matters.Its leading Competition & Antitrust practice advises clients across the full gamut of Competition and Antitrust matters, working on some of the largest cartel investigations, major transactions and complex Competition Litigation cases, as well as advising on abuse of dominance, commercial agreements and compliance issues.The team focuses primarily on UK matters, including CMA and NSIA work and Competition Litigation before the Competition Appeal Tribunal and the High Court. The team also regularly advises on EU and cross-border matters, working closely with international colleagues.You will be exposed to high-quality, market-leading work, across a range of areas, including:Investigations and complaints, including cartel mattersCompliance advice, including competition compliance programmesMerger control, joint ventures and foreign direct investmentAntitrust and competition advisory workAdvising on commercial agreements and arrangementsCompetition litigationAdvisory work, including abuse of dominance.The successful candidate will have:A strong academic backgroundExperience and/or a strong interest in Competition LitigationEnthusiasm for marketing and business development activitiesThe ability to work effectively within a team and support the development of junior lawyers.Location: LondonRegion: London (Greater)Country: UKSalary: 135,000 - 155,000Specialisation: CompetitionSector: Law firmRole Position: AssociateContract Type: PermanentHours: Full TimeExperience Level: Mid Level (2-5 years), Mid Senior Level (3-7+ years)PQE: 4-6 years, 7+ yearsReference Number: LWK-PL-17350
