You will lead complex, high-visibility programs, managing risks, and ensuring alignment of operations with our business strategy. You'll leverage your advanced knowledge in project management and data analytics to monitor program progress, make informed decisions, and communicate effectively with senior management and stakeholders. Your expertise in cross-functional collaboration and conflict management will be crucial in fostering a productive work environment and resolving potential issues.Job responsibilitiesManages the Measure 8 (Lineage) workstream to implement robust data management capabilities that satisfy regulatory requirements, while enabling strategic business objectives across risk, finance and technology functionsMaintains an awareness of any interdependencies with other workstreams in the Program, and assumes responsibility for delivery in line with the Plan agreed with the European Central BankLeads the day-to-day delivery of BCBS 239 requirements for risk data aggregation, validation, reconciliation and reportingDevelops, documents and operationalizes elements of the data governance framework covering lineage, quality, metadata and retentionEstablishes and monitors key performance indicators for data quality, completeness, timeliness and reporting efficiencyPresents regular status updates to governance forums and senior stakeholders on BCBS 239 milestones, risks and remediation plansCoordinates with Governance, Compliance, Risk and Legal partners to ensure all data practices adhere to internal policies and external regulationsSupports regulatory stress testing, capital-planning exercises and examination preparations by ensuring robust, auditable data foundationsIdentifies regional or local data-privacy issues and escalate to global governance teams as neededRequired qualifications, capabilities and skillsUnderstanding of SQL, Python or R, and hands-on experience with relational and cloud databases (Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, AWS/Azure)Knowledge in enterprise ETL/ELT tools and data-integration platforms for large-scale processingFamiliarity with data-governance frameworks, master-data management and metadata repositoriesKnowledge of risk-management systems and regulatory-reporting workflows in JPSMEUnderstanding of financial-markets technology, including trading systems and market-data platforms or systems in JOMSEStrategic mindset with the ability to translate complex regulations into practical, scalable solutionsProven leadership and influencing skills, capable of driving alignment across global, cross-functional teamsExcellent analytical, problem-solving and project-management capabilitiesOutstanding written and verbal communication skills, with experience presenting to senior management and regulatorsProven ability to thrive in fast-paced, dynamic environments and lead change-management initiativesPreferable qualifications, capabilities and skillsPractical experience with modern data platforms (Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery) and micro-services or data-mesh architectures preferable.J.P.
