Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer –Devon – £47,500 pa + Benefits – REF 084 Permanent Nights Monday – Friday | 10:00pm – 6:00am £47,500 (inclusive of shift allowance) + Benefits Devon An excellent opportunity has arisen to join a leading global manufacturing organisation operating within a highly automated production environment, with a strong reputation for engineering excellence, quality and continuous improvement. As part of the Engineering team, the business is now seeking a Night Shift Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to provide hands-on maintenance support across a range of manufacturing, automation and facility equipment. Working closely with the Maintenance Team Leader and Production teams, you will play a key role in maintaining equipment uptime, responding to breakdowns, completing planned preventative maintenance and supporting ongoing continuous improvement across the site. The role will have a strong electrical bias, with responsibility for diagnosing and resolving faults across machinery, drives, safety circuits and ancillary equipment, alongside mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic maintenance. Skills & Experience Needed: • Previous experience within a manufacturing, processing or similar environment. • Strong electrical fault-finding and diagnostic experience. • Good mechanical maintenance and fault-finding skills. • Competence with pneumatics, hydraulics and variable speed drives. • Experience carrying out both reactive and planned preventative maintenance. • Good understanding of Health & Safety and safe systems of work. • Ability to carry out structured fault-finding and contribute to root cause analysis. • Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive and methodical approach.
