Class 2 HGV driver

We are currently recruiting an experienced Class 2 Driver to join a busy and well established operation.Shift Details:Start times between 10:00pm and midnightWorking days: Monday night through to Saturday morningGuaranteed 5 day working weeksPay:£17.20 per hourAnnual salary for pay parity: £42,942.53 based on a 48 hour working weekHoliday:33 days annual leave per year, including Bank HolidaysKey Duties:Driving a Class 2 HGV vehicle safely and responsiblyCompleting local and regional deliveriesCarrying out vehicle checks before and after each shiftEnsuring all loads are safely secured and transportedLoading and unloading goods where requiredCompleting delivery paperwork and relevant documentationUsing delivery notes and handheld devices where requiredCarrying out multi drop deliveries when requiredMaintaining accurate records of deliveries and collectionsCommunicating professionally with customers and site contactsReporting any vehicle defects, delays or delivery issues promptlyFollowing all company, health and safety and transport regulationsEnsuring the vehicle is kept clean and presentableWorking efficiently to meet delivery schedules and deadlinesRequirements:Valid Class 2 driving licenceValid CPC and Digital TachographPrevious HGV Class 2 driving experienceGood knowledge of road safety and drivers' hours regulationsGood timekeeping and reliabilityAbility to work night shiftsProfessional attitude and good communication skillsThis is a great opportunity for an experienced Class 2 Driver looking for a stable night driving position with guaranteed 5 day working weeks and competitive pay.Apply now to find out more.TPBN1_UKTJ
