We are recruiting for a Procurement Project Coordinator to support the successful delivery of strategic procurement initiatives and business-critical projects within a fast-paced and collaborative environment.This is an exciting opportunity to join a high-performing Procurement team on a maternity cover contract through to 06 August 2027 , helping drive operational excellence, governance, reporting, stakeholder engagement, and project delivery across multiple business functions.The OpportunityYou'll play a key role in supporting the delivery of strategic programmes and projects aligned to wider business objectives. Working across Procurement and connected functions, you will help drive impact through effective communication, governance, risk management, reporting, and delivery support.Acting as a central point of contact for Procurement teams, you'll support projects through key governance processes while ensuring delivery remains on track against agreed objectives, risks, timelines, and benefits.Key Responsibilities:Enabling clear communication and early engagement across Procurement, Engineering, Manufacturing, House of Brands, Attributes, STA, Finance, Programme / PMO teams to align targets and manage impacts / changesActing as the primary liaison for Procurement, ensuring visibility of Procurement activity, managing risks and communicating changes through relevant governance forumsProvide support and coaching to team members on the gate process helping to prepare them for key gateways and in addition helping to define appropriate gate timelinesSupporting development and maintenance of all relevant reporting systems, ensuring alignment with relevant stakeholders and accurately documenting outputs, agreements, risks and timingManagement of required governance, including but not exclusive to; milestone reporting, project status reporting, financial reporting and risk and issue managementFacilitation and coordination of the relevant governance forumsReport on key programme metrics as defined by the areaProviding senior-level visibility of status and deliverables on behalf of the wider Procurement team and escalating risks where appropriateCoordinating cross-carline and cross-functional associated activities, ensuring consistent communication and application of relevant programme gatewaysWorking with Procurement owners to ensure broader supplier & sourcing context is understood and communicated, identifying associated risks and potential mitigation approaches as relevantDelivering accurate data and concise reporting for Senior Leaders, representing Procurement in governance forumsHelping drive issue resolution, process refinement and continuous improvement across all aspects of Enterprise Missions / Projects engaged withWork on projects and work streams; from scoping to delivery and including cross-functional engagement and stakeholder management - where applicableUndertake any other work as directed by their line manager in connection with their job as may be requestedSkills and Experience :Essential:Experience in complex project management and/or procurement environments, ideally in a cross functional / departmental capacityGood understanding of Project Management principles and methodologiesExcellent organisation skills, forward planning and structured in approachExcellent stakeholder and relationship management skills with clear understanding of how to facilitate cross-functional team work to meet objectivesCustomer first mindset and effective stakeholder management at all levelsEffective communicator - able to present to senior levels of the organisationStrong analytical, influencing and problem-solving skillsHighly agile with ability to manage and deliver multiple tasks within tight deadlinesExcellent computer skills specifically in Microsoft Excel and PowerPointTo be proficient in the use of Excel to create reports and analyse data including manipulation of complex data setsDesirable:Demonstrable experience of process improvement and working in a project support rolePrevious experience of working on projects from inception through to deliveryTo be proficient in all O365 applicationsSharePoint, JIRA, Plan View, Tableau experienceRelevant degreeEducation:Essential:An individual with a customer first mindset who is easy to do business with and makes people feel special, driven to deliver experiences that are personalised, transparent and dependableExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to establish and maintain strong working relationships at all levels of the businessFlexible and creative mind setAbility to work on own initiative, is results driven, demonstrating tenacity, drive and perseveranceDriving license, as all Midlands based sites may need to be coveredDesirable:An individual with the ability to challenge existing thinking in a positive way whilst building credibility and trust through experience and personal styleFull time, Partime and candidates considering both will be accepted on this positionIf you have strong project coordination, PMO, governance, procurement, or business improvement experience and enjoy working across multiple stakeholders to deliver strategic outcomes, we'd love to hear from you.TPBN1_UKTJ
