Job Description
This Estimator position offers an exciting opportunity to join an established commercial team delivering civil engineering and infrastructure projects. You will play a central role in preparing detailed cost builds and developing robust pricing solutions across various civil schemes.
\nInterpret client requirements from tender documentation to perform accurate take offs and build detailed bills of quantities.
\nCollaborate closely with bid managers, planners, and procurement specialists to agree on optimal delivery methodologies.
\nMaintain comprehensive risk registers, opportunity logs, and key assumption files throughout the estimation lifecycle.
\nPrepare thorough adjudication packs and present tender bases directly to senior commercial leaders.
About You\nYou are a collaborative and detail oriented professional with practical estimating or operational site experience across civil engineering projects. Your technical understanding of construction methods allows you to build realistic resource profiles and accurate tender submissions.
\nDemonstrate hands on estimating or operational experience in one or more areas such as groundworks, pipelines, or general civils.
\nShow strong competence in first principle tender build ups and associated plant, labour, and material requirements.
\nPossess numerical literacy alongside proficiency in estimating software platforms and Microsoft Excel.
\nCommunicate confidently to build effective working relationships with internal delivery teams and project stakeholders.
