\nTeacher of German (Temporary Cover)
\nStart Date: Mid-August 2026Duration: Approximately 1 monthHours: 0.75 FTE (Wednesday likely to be the non-working day)
\nReed FE are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Teacher of German to provide temporary teaching cover during a period of staff sickness absence.
\nThis is an excellent opportunity for a qualified and passionate language specialist to join a supportive department and inspire students in their language learning. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging German lessons, planning and assessing learning, and maintaining high standards of teaching and classroom management.
\nThe Role

- Deliver high-quality German lessons to students across relevant year groups. \n
- Plan, prepare and assess work in line with curriculum requirements. \n
- Support students to achieve their academic potential. \n
- Contribute positively to the wider school community during the placement. \n
Requirements
\n- \n
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification. \n
- Experience teaching German in a secondary school setting. \n
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for modern foreign languages. \n
- Excellent communication and organisational skills. \n
All candidates who register with Reed Further Education will have 2 years’ referencing taken up and will be required to have a DBS check completed.
