We are seeking a Paralegal or Senior Paralegal to join our client's Document Review and Collation (DRC) team. This role offers the opportunity to work within a centre of excellence, known for its optimised managed legal services. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Data Subject Access Requests (DSARs) and be ready to take a lead role in this workstream.
\nDay-to-Day of the Role:

- Undertake first-level reviews of DSARs ensuring high standards of detail, accuracy, and speed, including the application of redactions and exemptions under data protection legislation. \n
- Act as lead reviewer on DSAR matters, managing the scope, review process, and final response production. \n
- Conduct quality checks on review work by colleagues, providing feedback and suggestions for improvement. \n
- Analyse new DSAR instructions, streamline processes for efficiency, and use e-disclosure platforms like Relativity for document reviews. \n
- Communicate effectively with client teams and external clients, ensuring clear documentation of instructions throughout the lifecycle of a matter. \n
- Report regularly to management on the progression of ongoing matters, manage deadlines and workloads effectively. \n
- Train new team members on DSAR processes and technology. \n
- Manage financial outputs of projects, ensuring all changes to time, cost, and quality are considered and communicated. \n
Required Skills & Qualifications:
\n- \n
- Significant experience as a paralegal in document review or data protection, specifically with DSARs. \n
- Ability to lead DSAR reviews from scoping to production with minimal supervision. \n
- Experience using document review platforms such as Relativity or similar eDiscovery tools. \n
- Strong drafting skills and experience maintaining training materials and precedents. \n
- Excellent relationship-building skills, able to work with colleagues, clients, and external providers effectively. \n
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong self-management, multitasking, and prioritisation skills. \n
- High level of accuracy and organisational skills, adaptable to a varied workload. \n
