  • Lead the budgeting, forecasting and financial planning processes.

  • Provide detailed financial analysis and insightful reports to support strategic decision-making.

  • Collaborate with senior leadership to align financial strategies with organisational objectives.
  • \n
  • Monitor financial performance and identify areas for improvement or cost-saving opportunities.

  • Develop and maintain financial models to support long-term planning.
  • \n
  • Manage and mentor a team within the finance department.
  • \n
  • Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and reporting requirements.

  • Communicate key financial insights to stakeholders in a clear and effective manner.

Profile

A successful Head of FP&A should have:

  • A professional accounting qualification (e.g., CIMA, ACCA, ACA) or equivalent.
  • \n
  • Strong experience in financial planning, analysis and budgeting.
  • \n
  • Proven ability to manage and develop a team.
  • \n
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • \n
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial data clearly.
  • \n
  • Experience in the not-for-profit sector is advantageous but not essential.
  • \n

Job Offer

  • Salary ranging from £60,000 to £65,000, dependent on the level of experience.

  • Permanent position based in Portsmouth.
