\nPosition Overview:
\nThe Team Leader will play a crucial role in managing a production area within the overall production function.
\nYou will leverage your expertise in CNC machining and robotics to lead your team effectively, ensuring that output targets are consistently met.
\n\nKey Responsibilities:
\nTeam Leadership:
\nOrganise and control staff efficiently.
\nCommunicate regularly through daily team meetings and stakeholder sessions.
\nPerformance Management:
\n- Provide guidance to achieve full flexibility and balance in operations.- Monitor performance metrics related to accidents, quality defects, productivity, and stock accuracy.
\n\nCompliance & Quality Assurance:
\n\nEnsure adherence to health and safety standards, including risk assessments and safety barometers.
\nMaintain ISO 9001 compliance through audits and quality control processes.
\n\nContinuous Improvement:
\n\nImplement lean manufacturing principles to eliminate non-value-added operations.
\nDrive initiatives forKaizen and5S to enhance workplace organisation and efficiency.Operational Efficiency:
\n\nCollaborate with Production Administrators and Section Managers to control build plan delivery.
Manage hands-on maintenance to minimise line stoppages and ensure targets are met.\n\nExperience & Skills Required:
\nProficiency in Microsoft Office and manufacturing software systems.
\nProven experience managing a multi-skilled team and knowledge of capacity planning.
\nBasic technical and inspection knowledge related to CNC machining and robotics.
\nExperience in a lean manufacturing environment with a focus on continuous improvement.
\nStrong ability to uphold high commercial quality standards.
\n\nWorking Hours & Salary:
\nHours: Monday - Thursday 07:30-16:30 (30 minutes unpaid lunch), Friday 07:30-13:30 (40 hours per week).
\nSalary: £41,000
\n\nPay & Benefits:
\nMonthly bonus based on performance .
\n25 days holiday (increasing with service) plus bank holidays.
