Arc Welder - Contract PositionWe are currently looking for an experienced Arc Welder to join a well-known and respected engineering company based in Poole. This is a contract position starting Monday 2nd November.Key ResponsibilitiesCarry out Arc (MMA) welding on steel components to a high standard.Read and interpret engineering drawings and welding specifications.Inspect and assess completed welds to ensure quality, durability, and compliance with required standards.Maintain a high standard of workmanship while meeting production and project deadlines.Follow all relevant health & safety procedures and company quality standards.Work effectively as part of a team within a busy engineering environment.Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working area.Skills, Qualifications & ExperienceTime-served Welder/Fabricator with proven Arc/MMA welding experience.Strong experience welding steel using the Arc/MMA welding process.Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.Good understanding of welding procedures, quality standards, and inspection requirements.Strong awareness of health & safety practices.Reliable, hardworking, and able to work effectively as part of a team.Full rights to work in the UK.Able to travel to Poole daily for the duration of the contract.
