Paralegal

A well-established and highly regarded law firm in Reading is seeking a Private Client Paralegal to join its growing Private Client team. The successful candidate will work closely with experienced solicitors and fee earners, supporting a varied caseload of private client matters and gaining valuable hands-on experience across a broad range of work.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assisting solicitors with a broad range of private client matters
\n
• Drafting correspondence and legal documents
\n
• Preparing Wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney, and Estate Administration documentation
\n
• Liaising with clients, beneficiaries, financial institutions, and third parties
\n
• Managing client files and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
\n
• Conducting legal research and preparing case summaries
\n
• Supporting fee earners with Probate and Trust administration matters
\n
• Handling file opening, closing, billing, and general administrative duties
\n

Requirements:

\n
• Previous experience within a Private Client department as a Paralegal or Legal Assistant
\n
• Knowledge of Wills, Probate, Estate Administration, Trusts, and LPAs
\n
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
\n
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
\n
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a busy environment
\n
• Proficiency with case management systems and Microsoft Office
\n
• A Law degree, LPC, SQE, CILEX qualification, or equivalent legal experience would be advantageous
\n
