This is a genuine leadership opportunity for a lawyer who wants to play a key role in shaping the future direction of an established team, whilst continuing to develop their own practice and profile.The OpportunityThe firm is looking to appoint a Head of Employment to lead an already busy and well-established team. You will take responsibility for the day-to-day leadership and development of the department, working closely with the wider firm's leadership team to identify opportunities for continued growth. The team already has an excellent platform, meaning you can focus on leading, developing and growing the practice, rather than starting from scratch.Your role will include:\n

- Leading and developing an established Employment team \n
- Managing a high-quality caseload of contentious and non-contentious employment matters \n
- Advising a broad range of businesses and organisations \n
- Developing and strengthening existing client relationships \n
- Identifying opportunities for further business development and growth \n
- Acting as a key point of contact for major clients \n
- Mentoring and developing junior members of the team \n
- Supporting recruitment as the department continues to grow \n
- Working collaboratively with colleagues across the firm's national network \n
- Raising the profile of the Employment team within the Warwickshire market \n

- Significant experience across employment law \n
- Strong contentious and/or non-contentious employment experience \n
- Previous experience of leading, managing or mentoring a team \n
- A strong commercial approach and excellent client-care skills \n
- A proven ability to develop and maintain client relationships \n
- Business development experience and a desire to grow a practice \n
- A strong reputation within the Warwickshire and wider Midlands market \n
